Australian law firms have had AML/CTF obligations under Tranche 2 since 1 July 2026. Radian AML covers client due diligence, risk assessment, ongoing monitoring and AUSTRAC reporting. It reads matters from your practice management system and charges the cost of each check to the matter.
An intake wizard for each client type (individual, company, trust, partnership, SMSF, association), a beneficial ownership tree, PEP and sanctions screening with hit adjudication, and identity verification evidence kept on the client.
A configurable factor model scores each client Low, Medium or High and sets the due diligence level and review cadence. A versioned firm-wide risk assessment register sits alongside.
Rules for overdue reviews, expiring identification, screening re-hits, unusual trust transactions, scope drift and missing ownership information raise alerts. An alert is not raised again while an open one exists for the same subject.
Suspicious matter reports drafted, reviewed, approved and lodged in one pipeline, with the statutory clocks visible at every step.
Search across clients, matters, parties and relationships before a matter opens, with a clear, information barrier or declined-to-act outcome recorded.
Registry lookups and ASIC extracts resolve ownership down the chain, name the gaps (trusts, foreign entities, nominees) and feed the transparency score.
Every chargeable check and extract is priced from an editable schedule and posted to the matter in your practice management system.
Matters opened in the practice management system are brought into Radian AML before each monitoring sweep.
The compliance officer runs the console, fee earners see their own clients and requests, and the managing partner signs off on risk and reporting.
Radian AML does not write to your system directly. Updates go through an integration layer that Radian builds and supports for each firm.
Adapter available. Clients and matters can be created in Affinity from the intake wizard, and disbursements post to the matter ledger.
Runs as the compliance add-on to Radian Practice, sharing its client and matter records.
Aderant and others connect through the same integration contract.

Beneficial ownership traced through a unit trust and a Singapore holding company, with the gaps named.
The demo runs on a fictitious mid-sized firm. We can also walk through one of your own client structures.
